Note about our opening hours– The hours listed above are for the general public. We happily open outside of these hours for private parties. For groups of less than 35 there is a small fee to cover costs. You can find out more on the Funeral Receptions and Private Dining pages.

After many years we have fine tuned our opening hours to what works best for us, as both a family and a public house. Alan is always present in the kitchen, overseeing every dish that is served, as you can imagine a full on task in itself.

We will always open for group bookings and look forward to hearing from you. The answer phone is always on and you’re welcome to leave us a message any time
